Confusing plot

I really enjoyed that this movie showed you things and didn't "tell" you things. You were putting the pieces together and followed this little girl on an emotional journey. Although I did know where the movie was going I did enjoy watching the story unfold.

I think it had the opportunity to be much better. The plot was fine but the ending was confusing & too slow at times.

Never understood what was happening throughout the entire movie.

1.9 - Fighting w/ myself over whether I watched enough of this to even rate it or give it a DNF. I set myself up for failure choosing to go to a 11:45 (12:05 post previews) showing. I was so damn bored. I would watch, get confused by the feeling of “did I miss something or is nothing happening,” glance at the time thinking “oh no, I dozed off,” & then realize it had been less than 5 minutes since I had done the same thing. I’m sure my eyes closed for a few short spurts but I don’t think I missed much.

A werewolf story without a werewolf that is really just a repetitive, insanely heavy handed, family abuse allegory. There’s no significant acting that I can recall which is disappointing since I had high hopes seeing Kit Harrington again. Even the atmosphere was more dreary than creepy. I do feel I owe it another chance if it hits streaming, so I can be sure I didn’t miss anything big. But I think I caught enough to know I didn’t like this.

Couldn’t even finish it. Had high hopes because duh Kit Harrington but it was so boring I had to turn it off. And I’m not the type to turn movies off unless it really cannot keep my interest. Would not recommend

3/5 stars. Wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible. I would probably watch it again. The filming location really fit the movie

Painfully slow at first, but once the story gets going, it’s a compelling and interesting film. The twist at the end was also really cool and Kit Harington was also great in this movie.

I get the whole point was supposed to be a metaphor for DV and the beast is Willows way of coping, but the whole movie I was kind of hoping Willow would turn as well. That’s what I thought it was alluding to during the forrest scene with Noah and Willow.

Wasn’t sure what was going on half the time. It was a weird movie that isn’t even really about werewolves. Don’t waste your time.

Maybe I should paid closer attention but I was a bit lost the whole time

I can’t say I’m disappointed because by no means did i think this was would be good, i only watched bc of Kit Harrington but is it a decent werewolf movie too much to ask for cuz wtf was this?!
