This is a sweet, quirky holiday film that is set in Baltimore on Christmas Eve. The cinematography is intimate and really captures parts of the city so well. There was one scene by the Key Bridge that was filmed two months before the collapse. It’s well written with interesting characters. I recommend it as a lowkey Christmas movie especially if you love Baltimore or want to see Baltimore’s charm.

An off kilter holiday movie for misfits, this Christmas love story has a ton of charm and holiday spirit! The two leads are perfectly imperfect, allowing us to easily connect with them and their struggles. The humor is witty, the emotion is palpable, and the writing is on point!

It is not the holiday movie you think it will be. I think it’s better. It’s warm, complicated, messy, very human, very charming. Great chemistry in the leads. Supporting cast all carries their weight. Just a really well done not your run of the mill rom-com.

I did not expect to like this movie as much as I did. It gets you emotionally. It’s funny, it’s sad, it’s charming and it is just a feel good movie. It shows that life might not be okay but sometimes a different perspective can change the direction you are heading.

Fresh and sincere slice of life story shot with care but without a big budget. I’d love to have an NA beverage with the main characters. Watch it, then listen to the Rich Roll interview with the creator and the lead actor.
