The Aviator Reviews

7/10

6/10

The Aviator is a really solid movie. Leonardo DiCaprio plays Howard Hughes in a way that feels real, showing both his success and his struggles. The film looks clean and classy, and the story keeps you interested. It’s a bit long, but still worth watching.

Scorsese gives us a lot more than the Charles Foster Kane of the clouds. He keeps focus on Hughes, the dreamer, who continually reached out, grabbed the future and pulled it toward him.

Great lighting and cinematography from Martin Scorsese, especially in the first scene. Fantastic performance as well from Leo DiCaprio, and a star studded supporting cast.

May easily beat another favorite, Shutter Island.

Such an interesting and involved movie, watched it twice for a reason.

8/10 Intriguing story, I quite enjoyed the portrayal of his character and once again an excellent acting job from DiCaprio. Not necessarily a rewatch but definitely one to watch

Long as a mothafucka wtf. There’s just something about Leonardo man, I truly understand why people love him, he is good. He is something special.

was bored at times but overall an interesting story and leo’s performance was so good 7.5/10

Pretty long, I mean it’s good that’s about it. Nothing craxy

I appreciate the acting, especially DiCaprio's; he was brilliant. But I didn't like the movie that much.

Nonostante l’interpretazione meravigliosa di Di Caprio, il film mi è sembrato scritto male. La malattia passa da essere trascurabile a essere invalidante senza avvisaglie, il suo rapporto con le donne non è chiaro.

Interesting drama and the history of planes and Howard Hughes. Leo DiCaprio is fantastic as usual.

The movie isn’t really my cup of tea but DiCaprio’s performance is 10/10 as usual !!!

Another great film from Scorsese (he NEVER misses). At points I do feel like it drags a bit, but always seems to pick itself up again. It is very satisfying when finished as it doesn’t leave the viewer wanting any more without overloading. It’s on the lower end of amazing. 7.7/10

underwhelming… 6.4/10
