Conflicted on how to rate this because it’s educational but disturbing and frustrating to watch. This man killed at least 1000 people and really had the audacity to ask if he sinned 😐

Took me a while to finish this bc I’ve been so busy and this film is very…. Load-bearing. Disturbing doesn’t even begin to describe it. It makes for a great watch tho. Something about seeing men so casually, in their day to day lives with families now, speak fondly of the past killing and raping thousands. And that last scene was equally heartbreaking and chilling. It was like he finally had a moment of clarity after all these years of the true gravity of his actions

Most oblivious guys on the planet. Terrible atrocities. I hope they all get what they deserve.

Probably a 5 but learning about a torture and genocide makes me uncomfortable and I don’t understand Bahasa Indonesia that well yet.

Easily one of the most disturbing movies I’ve ever seen. The apathy as/or joy at which the subjects confess to genocide is truly haunting. Not for the faint of heart, major warnings before watching! An interesting true human study, but catastrophicly horrific.
