A must watch blockbuster from the late 80s. Cameron did not miss in this era. You can see the precursors to Titanic and the Avatar films here, but with minimal CGI and constant tension 9/10

The Abyss
I honestly loved this movie, to how it gripped me from start to finish. It has stakes, the whole cast felt like a family, it had such emotional scenes and also very brutal ones. The aliens are so beautiful, and their scenes are captivating. Everyone was such a badass 9/10 🪼
