More of the same, but different: and that’s what I liked about the movie. You get, what makes Terminator like-able, packed into a different, well told, storyline.
The end was unexpectedly different, which makes me interested in watching the next parts!

Not awful, just boring. Plot is redundant, feels like a cash-grab. Can't decide if the twist is clever or infuriating. Didn't care for the half-baked character work w/ John, or Stahl's dull performance. But there's some fun action & it's watchable other than some cringy moments.

If it wasn't clear enough before, this is definitely an action franchise, and compared to the last two films, the action is the only thing this has going for it. Nearly everything else, like the acting, dialogue, and story, is weaker. A somewhat sturdy beginning and end, with a sloppy centre. As for the characters, they all seem to be let down by the writing and development, and it's a shame since the TX looks incredible. The exposition was a nightmare, and unlike the T-800 in this, I don't really have much else to say.

8/10 it kept the same pace and fun action as the first 2. But managed to change enough for me not to get bored with it
