What a phenomenal piece by the Philippou brothers! Very unexpected EXTREMELY gory scenes, and they definitely did not use cheap jumpscares to make this piece terrifying. This film was unsettling purely from the acting and very well directed shots. Outstanding cast and directors.

9.2 - I absolutely loved this. It had a surprising amount of weird and funny moments, real creepiness & a tense, adrenaline inducing energy & pace. Plus, it provided one of the most satisfying & smartest (though a bit predictable) endings in recent horror.

This movie took such an abrupt turn about 30 minutes in and my jaw was on the floor 😅 Great film overall and it brought on some fresh & fun concepts to the horror genre! Also immediately added the “Le Monde” song to my Spotify playlist after leaving the theater lol

If you like a good toe sucking then this is the movie for you .

The story is solid, with a good dose of humor to keep things entertaining. Plus, the intense gore scene will have you gripping the edge of your seat.

I would highly recommend. Not your ordinary horror film.

holy. crap. this was insane omg.
the acting was amazing, and the camerawork ?!? and the twists ?! literally in shock LOL but the ending ? i’ve never been so confused 😭 but I also think..I understand??

i really did not like this movie. i expected better from a24, however at the end of this movie i was confused. also why didnt her friend take her dad to the hospital even after she saw he was alive still? the only part that was okay was the end when she is the spirit. madness👋💩💀👹

I didn’t think this movie was scary but the story was interesting. Definitely some heavy gore parts for sure and the ending was kind of meh but overall it was acceptable.

I loved watching Rakka Rakka when I was younger and have been waiting for them to move into the film industry. And what a entrance they’ve made!!!
A brilliant horror film that I thoroughly enjoyed.

good ending

when i tell you mia was the most insufferable main character i’ve ever seen OML this movie made me so irrationally angry i wanted every character to die cause they were all so idiotic
the only character i liked was riley and he almost died 8 times cause everyone was an IDIOT
