This was enjoyable.
What struck me the most were the backgrounds. Some were painted, couldn’t tell if they were water color or what, but they looked beautiful. The character designs were great as well.
Nanashi and Kotaro were both interesting characters. However, i do wish that Nanashi’s killing of the two children that traumatized him was elaborated on a little more. Like i feel as though it could’ve been better if there was a reason why he was forced to kill those people.
Anyway, the fighting animation is great too.

10/10 simply the greatest of all time. Coming from a guy who criticizes every single movie is a big deal. From the soundtrack to the characters development of passions and love for each other from strangers to brothers who watched each other’s back, it’s perfect. Masterpiece!

beyond beautiful movie. the soundtrack is amazing. the characters have realistic personalities. the fight scenes are perfect and realistic. the plot is amazing. main character is hot. overall a solid 10/10.

6/10 Great animation and fight scenes but the story was not that interesting. Went into this hearing a lot of good things and I just had trouble focusing and enjoying watching it.
