Struggling to figure out why this was made.
Again didn’t add anything to Superman that wasn’t shown in previous movies.
Luther Escaping Prison was recycled,
Lois and Superman dating was recycled,
The daily planet side plot was ok but wasn’t particularly interesting and I’m sort of mad that it was immediately solved off camera and we just hear about it at the end.
I do think that Nuclear man could be a cool villain, just not a main antagonist.

Just a boring movie I had trouble finishing.

This is a weird movie lol

The story is shallow, the special effects are strangely routine, and the characters are even more superficial than you'd expect from a film inspired by a comic book series.

just as terrible as the last one, but at least this one is done and over with sooner. i don’t understand how the effects and performances got increasingly worse over time for this franchise

First 30ish minutes has some good moments but man this is filled with some brutal shit. “Nuclearman” has gotta be the worst movie villain of all time and the whole plot line of Clark Kent/Superman trying to juggle 2 different romances just doesn’t work at all.

It’s rough but has an admirable core message about peace and responsibility. Christopher Reeve remains the heart of the movie, elevating weaker material. It’s flawed but earnest, giving Superman a chance to address real-world concerns.

I remember not liking this movie when I was a kid and I definitely still hate it. I could explain all the reasons why this movie sucks but I’d just be wasting my time and energy. It’s really a shame that THIS shit was Christopher Reeve’s last Superman movie. He deserved better

Man, his was bad. And not the ‘So bad it’s laughable’ bad, it’s just plain bad. Also the memory wiping kiss again? Come on man. The only good thing was Christopher Reeve. And he himself even looked like he was tired of it.

Bad and not in a fun way. Quite sad this was Reeve's swan song as Superman. It sucks when the effects of the previous entries are better. Isn't technology supposed to get better overtime not worse? It's one thing to stay the same but regressing is bad.

I heard many dumb shit about this movie before going in, but I didn't fucking expect the RETRACTABLE SILVER CLAWS

Was Catwoman's DNA spliced into Nuclear Man as well???
