Literally one of the saddest things I’ve watched recently I cried like 3 times. Doris deserves the world!!! Parents like that are the worst I’m sorry but you have other children and you can’t just forget them.

thought this movie had broken me enough. and then the credits came on and it’s not only a TRUE STORY BUT ITS BASED ON THE DIRECTOR. rip my heart out, stomp on it, cut it into tiny pieces and bury it.

Wow this was a really good and a really sad movie! Nico Parker is such a great actress. Definitely expect to cry if you’re gonna watch and i highly recommend that you do watch!

A story of a depressing medical situation, a relationship mother-daughter relationship, and coming of age. Questions of ethics and of how we think we’d feel vs how we actually feel when someone’s gone come up. It’s a good movie to make you cry if you need it.

this movie definitely got some tears out of me, but i’m glad they didn’t make it strictly about her brother and added some coming of age type elements into it. It was also nice to see an awkward black girly, cause i feel like not enough movies show us. would watch again.
