I found it so overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time and I think that linked to the current lack of justice they currently have. All they got was a pat on the back and half-arsed apologies. So well produced.

Important stuff. I just couldn't get into it as it was slow moving

Slow. A lot of long moments of quietness, could be cultural related.

This was just infuriating and brutal despite being a very slow moving documentary. The stories completely gutted me…to top it off, outsiders blaming the victims and no real accountability ….and we wonder why there’s so much alcoholism in this community. The pain is palpable.

It’s crazy the horrible things that were done to the Indian tribes at these schools. It’s eye opening and you learn so much.

Saw this at the SCAD film festival and it was heartbreaking and beautiful all wrapped in one. Definitely needed to decompress after this film but I recommend everyone see it
