Top 10 movie of all time for me. When i realized that Alex sings the ost for this movie i was surprised as fuck bcs i love arctic monkeys so much. I think why i love this movie sm is because i can relate to Oliver, the way he talks, what he imagined, his love life, i love it sm.

I related to this and to Oliver more than I could ever imagine. I can't even describe how it made me feel.
Everything was so beautiful, the cast, the cinematography, the music, the writing, the deep connections and emotions.
Shed a couple of tears at the end ( maybe a bit more ).

Watched because Alex made the soundtrack. I didn’t really like the characters or their relationships, it was just awkward. Very visually stunning, though. Obviously an amazing soundtrack. Story wasn’t for me, tho. I didn’t really like what it was about, couldn’t connect with it.

i love coming-of-age films, but i especially love those that revolutionize the genre. this is such a unique piece that crafts a visually stunning and awkwardly intimate world with a prevalent energy reminiscent of wes anderson. truly original and quality filmmaking

Great writing and cinematography, related to and really enjoyed the awkward humor and found it to be a really fun and emotionally poignant coming of age film

7.3~ It will be on my list of Coming-of-ages Movies. The plots are great~little bored, typical teenage Rom-Com and the performance is quite good. Feeling’s nostalgia cinematography. I don’t think the relationship between them is a good one, it won’t be lasting long but I adore it

submarine shows perfectly the teenage experience, all the problems, dramas and events that come with it.
oliver might seem like a weird and unlikeable character, but he is the exact representation of a troubled teenage boy.
also the soundtrack was EXCELLENT, love alex.

coming of age, pretty funny but it's a specific comedy. I watched it bc of Alex Turner

This movie was absolutely stunning for me! I loved the way it’s told and the incredible cinematography, which perfectly captures that sense of sadness that comes with being a misunderstood teenager.

I think this will matter when I’m 38

This style of filmmaking, realness, and visual punchlines are what really makes this film special. None of the characters are quite likable, but it adds to the quirkiness of the film.
