I may be biased as I love Star Wars but this movie is great. While some elements don’t work so well, the amount of epic and satisfying moments in this film make up for it. Beautiful cinematography and a truly great conclusion to my favorite film saga.

I is not necessarily that this movie is horrible, it’s just they could have made this movie so much better. The lightsaber dueling now compared to the prequels is mine boggling. Th down graded so much because of Disney. Also why bring Palpatein back just to kill him again

Okay, so, I was going back and forth between ‘love’ and ‘like,’ ONLY BECAUSE, again, this movie by itself, I think is a really good movie, AT LEAST IN MY OPINION, and I really liked watch it.
But if we look at it from a SW viewpoint, it tried correcting TLJ mistakes.

The worst star was movie that has ever been made. If I had not been watching this movie in theaters with some friends then I would have left 40 mins into it. 3/10 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

So lala. Wiederholt sich langsam wirklich krass (Imperium kommt wieder und wird wieder von Rebellen besiegt) Rey’s Herkunft find ich nicht so logisch, genau wie Palpaltines Überleben und die Riesen Flotte mit Planetenzerstörern?
Paar nette Szenen, aber wirklich nicht gut

real good. made the redemtion believable and thrilling in a way. the way they handle the characters is just great and i really liked how reys and bens rekationship concluded with them unable to live at the same time as the other, it was so depressing tho. wasnt expecting palpatin

Episode 7 was good in my eyes and Episode 8 felt different but still enjoyable to watch. This movie was just fan service done bad, and sadly ruined the sequel trilogy for me

Slapdash catastrophe of an end to one of the biggest film series in history. Watchable for the VFX and actors, but the script takes a “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” approach. I saw it opening weekend and doubt I’ll ever revisit it

I literally just hate it. Disney didn't get that bringing older characters will not cover up whole mess that they did with the story and bad ending of the whole story. Still, some takes are just worth seeing, but after all, i'll not recommend it to anyone.

The only great* part of this movie is the rey & kylo ren kiss sorry. Everything else…

There are definitely some cool scenes, but the in between bits leave so many plot holes that I’m getting trypophobia

Also can we bffr who was in the writing room “somehow palp has returned”💀

I laughed a few times, some interesting scenes, but it’s the end of a trilogy not the first movie, so so many questions. It’s not even about info withheld, it’s info made up. Palpatine alive, a clone?, exchanging of items through the force, since when? Rewatch done, amen…

Less said the better
