I truly believe Rian Johnson gets it. JJ Abrams did ok but Rian should’ve been given the entire trilogy.

The most over-hated film quite possibly of all time, Rian Johnson changes direction to give a fresh and new take on the Star Wars universe with a thrilling new installment to the saga.

Even better than number 7- I think this is the best of the trilogy - so many amazing scenes and several amazing battle scenes - has everything you could want in a Star Wars movie and I think it did a great job with progressing the story

This is probably the weakest of the nine SW episodes. It just doesn’t have the style of all the previous ones and feels kinda empty compared to them. There were tons of scenes that were unnecessary and repetitive that it downgraded what could’ve been a great movie

0/10 Horrible Movie incredibly disappointing, acting is not good, story is horrible, ruins the character of Luke, Finn and Rose story is stupid, and Rey being trained for barely anytime for the entire movie fighting a bunch of red people🤮🤮🤮 Disgrace to the entire franchise

5.5/10 As a movie itself, it’s not that bad, as a SW movie it completely fucks a ton of SW lore all for the sake of subverting expectations. Character decisions make 0 sense especially with Luke and Yoda. Rey becoming a Mary Sue sucks, Kylo shines and the action is cool that’s it

A captivating start. Some cool fight scenes. But the bad outweighs the good. I don’t like the casino scene (too long). I don’t like Leia flying in space. Luke shoulda been doing that then. Finn and Poe were annoying and made so many people die. The VA could have said the plan too

ON THE OTHER HAND, as a SW movie…wow, I…am…speechless.
Look, I understand that they tried telling a story that Luke is this destroyed and defeated person…
