I truly believe Rian Johnson gets it. JJ Abrams did ok but Rian should’ve been given the entire trilogy.

Picks up right after last movie left off. Farm boy wizard throws his own laser sword over cliff like trash.

Desert girl is asks to be trained but he says no and drinks green milk from weird alien.

Meanwhile everyone else is in a space chase but super slow. Evil guys can't catch good guys because the good guys are just slightly faster. Whole movie is a slow car chase.

princess flies through space like Mary Poppins and lives.

Former stormtrooper go to casino planet to find code breaker, they fail but find a different code breaker who betrays them. Whole side quest does nothing.

Vader 2.0 and desert girl touch hands through their crazy bond and become maybe friends maybe enemies to lovers build up.

Farm boy wizard finally shows up but it’s just a hologram from other island, tricks Vader 2.0 and makes him scream at the hologram.

Desert girl lifts rocks, saves everyone, and tiny horse creatures run free on the casino planet.

Everyone is still in aslow chase but now on a salt planet that looks like snow but is red.

Farm boy wizard dies sitting on rock staring at sun.
