Star Wars: The Last Jedi

to anyone who tries to defend this, shut up

Easily the worst Star Wars movie, from an uncoordinated plot to Rose Tico herself, this movie is a rough mess. Luke Skywalker suffered from character assassination and while the film gets merit for being different and taking risks, this is not the way you make a Star Wars film.

I truly believe Rian Johnson gets it. JJ Abrams did ok but Rian should’ve been given the entire trilogy.

This movie is bland for 80% of it

Cinematically, this movie is amazing. The CGI and the landscaping is beautiful. That’s pretty much where the positive ends. It feels like this movie, contradicts a lot of storytelling and lore that all the other movies and shows have set up. All in all, I think the writings bad

While the performances are still fairly strong to a certain point, it seems this new trilogy started to take a downturn as it went on because this was definitely a weaker entry. The story felt underdeveloped and the writing, cliche. Is it a solid one? No, but it’s not bad. 8/10!!
