Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

9/10 “I never took the Kobayashi Maru test until now, what do you think of my solution?” I’ve not felt this strongly about a film in a WHILE. Boy oh boy did this get the waterworks going. It captures the Spirk dynamic so perfectly and it eats me up inside. Beautiful and tragic.

Much better than the first film, it just feels more theatrical and epic than the first! Khans downfall was his lust for revenge! Hopefully he’s gone for good…

I didn’t much care for the female Vulcan lieutenant. I didn’t see her place in the movie!

Whoever fired Robert Wise and hired Nicholas Meyer deserves a raise...because HOLY SH*T comparing this to the first one, MILES different, and in a good way.
The story was just so much more compelling, the characters, sets, CGI, literally everything, this was a great "first movie"

Pretty much just that tarantula episode from clone wars but 6 times as long.
Some parts were cool, mostly quite dull though—just not my thing.

Incredibly disapointing climax — no tension whatsoever
