Star Trek

Mainly entertaining as an action movie spin on Star Trek, rather than being typical cerebral Trek, but the story is still interesting. They try to give more dimension to some characters and yet they're still not as endearing as original cast. Nice visuals and score!

4/5/24 Rewatch: upgrading from 👍 to ❤️. I have my quibbles with the script but the last hour of this movie just has SO many high points. More thoughts in comments.

This was absolutely beautiful, as someone who watched all the previous movies, this tied in, but at the same time rebooted it in a perfect way, THIS is how studios should do it.
I just wish Star Wars learned a thing or two from Star Trek, the story, characters, everything was 🤌

Just amazing on all fronts perfect blend of action and drama and insane effects and cinematography
