Was forced to watch this for school and it was painful. We had to analyze the whole movie which made the experience even worse especially since the movie was already so uninteresting.

Quiet, devastating, and utterly gripping. No gimmicks just reporters doing the work, peeling back layers of institutional horror. The cast is understated and perfect. It’s not flashy, but its restraint is exactly what makes it hit so hard.

I really enjoy this moving, bring to life such a huge scandal. The cover up was shocking but I like it shows the story and how it came to light. The cast were fantastic one of my fav Oscar films from my Oscar a Year challenge this year

Horrifying, yet engrossing due to perfect screenplay and performances. I'm a sucker for procedural films. Howard Shore's score is simple, but powerful. Themes of faith, institutions, conscience, complicity... Would have liked if the credits mentioned the Dallas Charter reforms.
