Exaggerated but it’s wtvr

I didn't think it was possible for me to fanboy over Ben Affleck any more than I already did. The reason I put this off for so long is because I was expecting the typical Hollywood propaganda slop, and in some ways, it is. Although I have to say, as a film, it's fantastic. I wish they'd shown the evil that is the USA just as much as they'd shown it within the Iranian regime. Seeing, hearing, and feeling the reality of repression and political turmoil, wherever it may be, is beyond heart-shattering and yet impossible to ignore. Impressive casting, phenomenal tension, brilliant directing, and an engaging (true) story. I see why this won Best Picture.

Argo now holds the award for the most tense final 30 minutes I've seen in a movie. I was practically on the edge of my seat with clenched, sweaty fists the entire time.

Such a great movie, true story too.

I don’t knkw how but this movie in theory sounds like another copy paste middle east drama with bad talibs and almighty CIA agent but in practice it feels like something completly new it was a graat experience and a great film

when the bus brakes stopped my heart dropped too 🙂
