cried so hard, so many times. cheesy at some points but holy fuck this movie really pulls on your heart strings about the power of love - no matter who you are

The first hour is him creepily being obsessed with her and begging her to spend time with him (hey dude!! that’s not cool!! no wonder she’s afraid of you!) and maybe his charisma could make up for it if this weren’t an 80s movie that is. so. long.

when he found the penny and was sent back to his own time i literally got chills, i wasn’t thinking so it was so unexpected and totally got me, and i was sad and lowkey scared 😭 can’t believe he pulled a bella swan in new moon at the end 😒

It was kind of…funny? It was so dramatic but I felt like it didn’t take itself too seriously either, which was refreshing. I was entertained.

Classic if not a bit strange movie with a beautiful John Barry soundtrack. Despite some corniness I loved it!

It strikes you in the feels and involves my favorite paranormal subject, time travel.

LOVE. Always makes me emotional. Plus it was filmed on Mackinac Island in Michigan- there is a rock with a plaque of the spot where they first meet, it’s so cute.

Interesting love story about finding true love no matter what.
