Sometimes I Think About Dying

A self-aware, awkward, realistic, beautiful, nerve-wracking lesson. This isn't a movie you watch for fun but to observe and understand. Exactly like being in the mind of someone with depression. Dull, boring, repetative, long. Holding onto every bit of interest you have left. The dialogue was awfully good because I could imagine it taking place in real life. The acting from Daisy was subtle yet dramatic, probably one of the most realistic cries iv witnessed. I loved how every single shot was still and unbelievably beautiful. Oh, and the movieness within a movie is always so weirdly exciting.

I wasn’t sure how to think about this movie at first. Its beauty is in the stillness and the mundanity of the story. Daisy Ridley gives a terrific performance. It tells a subtle story dealing with depression and how we project on other people through actions and inaction.
