Some Like It Hot
The film is an outrageous, hilarious, and amazingly unpretentious trip through a funhouse of sexual identities. Some Like It Hot was released in 1959 but its effervescence and sparkle are timeless. I guarantee that it will make you laugh out loud.

WHAT. It’s iconic. It’s stunning. It’s riveting. It’s hysterical. It’s theatrical.

those who say that it is long and boring, they simply don’t understand the whole range of old films. It was funny, especially the final scene

The best final lines in a film:
“I’m a man!”
“Well, nobody’s perfect.”

Curtis and Lemmon take you on a jerky, quirky ride. Hilarious one liners. Plus Monroe is scantily dressed for the majority of the movie.

At first I was unsure, but after a little I was laughing. I think this movie is adorable and funny, I enjoyed it a lot. Of course it was a little rude, but if you watch it knowing it was the 50s it’s not so bad.

I had so much fun watching this I thought it was so cute and charming and the comedy is endearing. I loved Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon in it and I will be watching this movie for a long time especially if I’m feeling down.

One of the funniest movies ever made. Still hilarious even after all these years. Definitely Marilyn Monroe’s best role.

Great movie, I understand the obsession with marliyn monroe. Also what an ending. I know Roosevelt agrees with me

Considering this is approaching 70 years old it still really stands up. Highly entertaining, properly funny, and one of the best final lines ever!

I swear I need to start watching more old films cause this was just iconic, hilarious and stunning.
I don’t even know what else to say I mean I just loved the whole plot of the film and the way it was made to be this funny and different type of film in the late 50s and the ending is definitely worth it all.
I’m also disappointed in myself for not really watching Marilyn Monroe films sooner because I definitely should.
I will definitely be rewatching this film in the future and can’t wait to dive more into the older works of cinema since I have done so little of that so far.
