Not a fun watch but well made

this movie was def something interesting!

I thought this would be worth the watch for the social commentary but this just actually makes me sick and was not worth sitting through, I don’t understand the point of this movie even if it is to highlight the atrocities racism brings, this format wasn’t suited for those themes

It’s rough. One watch. Technically it’s brilliant. One camera one shot. Acting was top notch. Message is important. These evil monsters are out there and they look absolutely normal. Early shows calm collected. You “understand” their ideas. Second half shows the truth though.

This movie was incredibly disturbing and to say it was sickening to watch would be a vast understatement. That’s exactly the point though. Even so, the plot is so relevant to the time we’re in. These depraved acts happen all the time, even in todays climate. (1)

really not as bad as people say it is. very little violence, expected a lot more from the reviews. what they say in the movie is absolutely horrible, but i feel like being so much on the internet has made it more "normal" to hear stuff like that, and therefore less shocking

Boring extremely slow over exaggerated racial based film with a lady cult same ole same narrative to push out…🗑️🗑️

This movie will ultimately piss you off to the highest extent, Go in with every trigger warning you can think of if you do plan on watching it.

Filming such a violent escalation of events in a single shot is both impressive and brutal.
Very tough watch but that’s the whole point.
Not sure what to rate it and don’t know if I’d watch again.

EXTREMELY SLOW PACED some shots stretched out so long I had to watch it at 2x speed to not fall asleep😭 but those women make my blood boil oh my god. I didn’t like the shaky handheld camera angle very much tho

Couldn’t get more than 30 min in. Infuriating, scary, disturbing.

Shocking and disturbing for no reason. Very surface level commentary as if someone made a movie based solely on news headlines without reading the articles. The handheld style/one shot served no real purpose other than to reveal the filmmakers’ massive egos.

A faux-provocative slog that mistakes caricature for insight and torture porn for discomfort. I felt absolutely nothing but irritation. Gimmicky, artificial, and insulting to the audience’s intelligence. 90 minutes I’ll never get back. What a fun way to begin my TIFF 51 prep.
