Whether or not it can attract audiences looking for a tense spy thriller, the time spent on character development and eye-opening revelations is wholly watchable.

When it comes to Oliver Stone, I'm all eyes and ears. I'm a fanboy of his films, more so his biopics, and I admire his politics. The runtime might run a little long, but for a story this dense and consequential, two hours is barely enough. Plus, the insights and performances make it worthwhile. The accuracy isn't 100%, but the changes made, mainly due to dramatisation or unavailable sources, don't affect the key facts or core messages of the film. From a prying, pitiless, power-hungry governmental machine to small, voiceless, everyday people, Snowden could have let corruption thrive in ignorance. Instead, he put his life on the line and pushed back. To me, that's true heroism.

Interessant mal mehr über die Snowden Geschichte zu erfahren, aber der Film war zwischendurch ziemlich lang. Einige Passagen fühlen sich doppelt an.

This based on a true story movie is full of determination,bravery and courage. I loved it. Snowden really proves that one person can make a difference. But at what cost ?
8/10 underrated for something that really happen

This is an excellent film and does not get the recognition that it should because Edward Snowden is such a controversial character. Like him or hate him, he brought things to light for what he felt was the betterment of the public to know. It’s an important part of tech-history.

Great movie, terrifies me though because by now it’s only gotten so much worse

i’m too scared to type out my true opinion on edward snowden because i don’t want to end up on another cia watchlist

it makes me a little paranoiac to know, and feel that someone's always watching through an electronic camera. but all I can do is hope that it'll change and people will wake up to protest against all of this.

A good and on the edge whistleblower biopic.
Very interesting story I wasn’t aware of until now and it was directed perfectly by Oliver Stone.
Overall Joseph Gordon Levitt easily gave the performance of his career in this memorable spy film.

i was so interested in this but the pacing was kinda slow

i liked it, really, even though i did not watch it till the end, but the spy thriller is cool, and the main actor od really attractive hahah
