this was like the x-men movies this is like a completely different movie than the gi joe movies but at least everyone in this movie was hot

Very good movie, hopefully they’ll make a sequel or another GI Joe movie but I doubt it because I know GI Joe movies get hated on for no reason

I get that it's not a sequence but they could've honored Snake's memory a little bit better.

I don't know any of the G.I. Joe lore, so I viewed this as a standalone. With a cast like this, it should've been badass as fuck, but the action sequences are ass or cutaway. The story is basic, which is fine for a movie like this, but come on, man, you have to do more in the action department.

- I know this is a fresh reboot and all, but the main point is he’s supposed to be mysterious idk how I feel about this movie tbh
- All of the G.I. Joe movies aren’t that great tbh

So much potential and they messed up

It was weird seeing Snake Eyes talk. The ninja aesthetic, clan dynamics, and fight choreography were entertaining. Enjoyed the swordplay and dynamic between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Didn’t mind the origin tweaks, though it took liberties.

Started ok but then, 10 minutes in, went downhill. The storyline was poorly written, dialogue was awful, & felt forceful at times. I’m a fan of Henry Goulding & Samara Weaving’s work but bad directing. I’m mad, because in G.I. JOE, Snake Eyes is one of the most mysterious & cool!
