Looking online for more tear jerking movies and this one came up quite a bit for it being quite sad and being a movie similar to others I have watched.

The first quarter of the movie is okay at best, the main character girl has lost her phone and the boy calls her and talks to her for a period of time before revealing who he is, after they do meet they randomly put in a r*** subplot that came literally out of nowhere and for no reason, the 1st boyfriend comes to her rescue hours later and then beats the crap out of the assailants which was orchestrated by his ex girlfriend which in itself is a really messed up and out of pocket way to try and win him back which would’ve never worked anyway since she’s psycho for doing that in the first place.

The next plot is her and her 1st boyfriend having a kid… which was another unexpected and not well done plot because the main character does get pregnant by him in the school library of all places.. they plan everything out just for the ex girlfriend to push her down a few stairs causing the MC girl who have a miscarriage somehow… and then the 1st boyfriend slowly distances himself but still meets yearly at the “grave” of their kid which I could not get over him just acting like that because he got sick.

The girl then moved on after awhile and finds a new boyfriend who treats her way better and is 100x better then the 1st boyfriend ever was but she decides to go after him in the end when she finds out he was sick. I felt so bad for the 2nd boyfriend because his plot just ends there, we never see him again nor is he mentioned, which overall was a bad plot to even add to this film.

She then spends the rest of the 1st boyfriends days spending time with him in the hospital and them reconnecting and then eventually he does pass away, but I didn’t feel anything because he still decided to leave her and never tell her why he did what he did for months a year, he didn’t deserve the sympathy in the end for treating her like that because of his own complications.

Overall the movie had a lot of plot points but some were not even needed for this “romance” film and I feel like it ended up flat on its face for that fact, I feel it would’ve been better just to have her stay with the 2nd boyfriend in the end and maybe just visit him once and move on with life, or maybe him never even acting like that in the first place towards her, but hey I didn’t make the movie, I just think it could’ve been structured way better then what it was. Again, I didn’t feel sad at all at the end because he didn’t deserve her and she obviously never got over him even when with her 2nd boyfriend. Just disappointing, so so disappointing.
