Some really Cool scenes but the whole story seemed like it came from the wrong angle I much would’ve rathered if it followed from Alejandro’s perspective.

Wow that dinner table scene! An epic story of the grips the cartel has on the crime world, and the extremes even the authorities will go to stop them.

Sicario

"In Mexico, 'Sicario' means hitman."
I really should've kept the title card in mind because, woah. Now I see why they want Villeneuve for the next Bond film. Great casting, especially with Benicio. Tense scoring, striking cinematography, and powerful storytelling. I expected a harsh atmosphere, given its focus on the ongoing US-Mexico drug war, but I didn't expect such an unforgiving, brutal deep dive in its exploration of justice, morality, and power. Every scene violently hurls out impossible ethical dilemmas at the cost of what all sides of any war exploit: innocence.

Great cast and a serious but entertaining watch

I can see why this film is highly regarded. The camera work and sound especially made this film good, keeping the tension high throughout. Stacked cast who all had some good performances. The only reason it’s not a love is because, just like the main character, we were kept in the dark for a majority of the movie. Still enjoyed it.
