Some really Cool scenes but the whole story seemed like it came from the wrong angle I much would’ve rathered if it followed from Alejandro’s perspective.

Wow that dinner table scene! An epic story of the grips the cartel has on the crime world, and the extremes even the authorities will go to stop them.

One of my favorites movies of Denis, a story that retracts the harsh reality of the situation here in Mexico, from a foreign perspective (Emily Blunt's character). I was TENSE during the film and the plot twist was 😮. 9/10

i couldn’t really tell where this movie was headed for the first hourish, but the third act really locked me in - i didn’t know that emily blunt had this type of range and acting talent really - the message is so jarring right now thinking about how far our society has come even past where this movie was in terms of immigration and the war on drugs - final sequence of benicio and blunt was oscar shit

This was a beautifully shot film to watch.
