I really should've kept the title card in mind because, woah. Now I see why they want Villeneuve for the next Bond film. Great casting, especially with Benicio. Tense scoring, striking cinematography, and powerful storytelling. I expected a harsh atmosphere, given its focus on the ongoing US-Mexico drug war, but I didn't expect such an unforgiving, brutal deep dive in its exploration of justice, morality, and power. Every scene violently hurls out impossible ethical dilemmas at the cost of what all sides of any war exploit: innocence.

Some really Cool scenes but the whole story seemed like it came from the wrong angle I much would’ve rathered if it followed from Alejandro’s perspective.

Wow that dinner table scene! An epic story of the grips the cartel has on the crime world, and the extremes even the authorities will go to stop them.

This is a great slow burn, the way the story uses good and evil is just beautiful.
The score is also elite.
I found Emily Blunt’s character almost too passive in the story. She pretty much just watches what happens and is along for the ride.
The boarder traffic jam scene was absolutely awesome.
Although the missions were great, I think too much time is spent on building tension rather than showing the mission unfold. Not sure that makes sense.

it was great action movie, very thrilling, little confusing but it’s probably just a me problem
