Sicario: Day of the Soldado

This feels like they hijacked the first one only to inject and infect it with nonsensical propaganda and an almost pointless plot. Compared to the first, it's almost unrecognisable. The characters, the depth, the meaning, the themes, the script, the quality... Essentially, it's Sicario if it were a 'Fast and Furious' spinoff, with Vin Diesel playing Benicio. The US-Mexico focus is all over the place, and the pivots from the aims of its predecessor are 'muy loco'. Ultimately, it's a poor cash grab.

It was good but the first one was way better. Kinda confused at the end but i kinda get it i guess lol. It was just all over the place 6.3/10

Del Torros character was dope in this one. Ending was interesting and open ended. This was 2018! We need a 3rd one stat

Need that third one to come out, this one ended on a bit of a dud if they don’t. Some more unbelievable scenes but great story and action nonetheless. I dig these. Brolen and toro are freaking dawgs
