8.5 - I love an anxiety based horror disguised as a cringe comedy (or vice versa) and there are few better settings for those than family gatherings.

Oh and again, Rachel Sennott is a star in the making.

if social anxiety and the pressures of family functions were a movie. felt like a horror movie. very claustrophobic cinematography. very good, pretty relatable, too.

a shockingly stressful and emotional watch that deeply resonated with me. genius writing and superb delivery make each character engrossing and entertaining. rachel sennott is phenomenal

I’ve only heard good things about it and I totally agree. It’s a great movie and it’s really funny and the cinematography was good and plot was also good. Acting was greats. There are some cringy parts where it’s like why would you do that but in the end it comes together well
