Sherlock Holmes

I LOVE Robert Downey as Sherlock, he plays the character really well. Both actors for Sherlock and John have great chemistry and they make the movie funny and entertaining

I remember watching this one with my dad in theaters. One of my favorite RDJ roles.

RDJ ate this role up.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Benedict Cumberbatch (that series is one of my favs), but I think RDJ is a more accurate Sherlock overall. Also the setting/vibe of this movie is elite. Dark magic (but not rly), gothic aesthetic (ish), and mystery is SO fun

Fantastic performers, but mediocre plot.  The parts Guy Ritchie directs best are the action beats, but the mystery is less compelling.  Zimmer's score is delightful.  There are moments of brilliance in the visuals and writing.  There's just a spark missing. 

Sherlock Holmes type of movies are always a fun watch. 3.5/5
