Sense and Sensibility

Having one of the best casts I’ve seen in any period piece, Sense and Sensibility does the novel it’s based upon tremendous justice managing to be engaging while maintaining both voices of author and filmmaker.

REWATCH: I truly adore this film with my whole heart. Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson are always the best, but their performances in this film are astounding and amazingly heartfelt. Likewise, Alan Rickman and Hugh Grant make the swooniest, heart-fluttering romantic leads.

I can not believe I just watched this, from the screenplay to the shots it is truly a delightful watch

I have never seen a man look so uncomfortable in his own skin as Hugh Grant did the entirety of this movie. Everyone was so melodramatic in the regency era
