Sense and Sensibility

Having one of the best casts I’ve seen in any period piece, Sense and Sensibility does the novel it’s based upon tremendous justice managing to be engaging while maintaining both voices of author and filmmaker.

REWATCH: I truly adore this film with my whole heart. Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson are always the best, but their performances in this film are astounding and amazingly heartfelt. Likewise, Alan Rickman and Hugh Grant make the swooniest, heart-fluttering romantic leads.

I can not believe I just watched this, from the screenplay to the shots it is truly a delightful watch

a selection of thoughts: those daughters are 30, 20 & 10 apparently; i kept thinking that emma thompson was the mum; ilove that alan rickman plays someone not-evil; i kind of wish we still spoke like this, its so eloquent 8/10

I JUST DONT GET WHEN MARIANNE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE GUY SHE MARRIED.

This movie is not as good as pride and prejudice and does not have my favorite person ever Kiera Knightly but I will say it does have Alan Rickman and it is an amazing story!
