Scrooge: A Christmas Carol

The story with the ghosts from the past, present and future has been told before. But I enjoyed this one

Wym i havent expressed my love for this movie on queue yet..😅 this may be the best netflix original animated film made, music AMAZING! Visuals are stunning and by far my favorite take on the story of scrooge.. literally a 10/10

I avoided this for a while cause I figured it was like any other Christmas Carol movie, and I’m rather fond of Jim Carrey’s version. Yet this was a rather refreshing remake, and made resonating with Ebenezer Scrooge easier. I couldn’t help, but feel sorry for his situation rather than just seeing him as some grumpy old man filled with greed.
The animation was quite fun, and the ghosts of past, present, and future were just as amusing. The songs were beautiful in helping the scenes come to life. Although, I don’t think this movie could quite replace my love for the 2009 film, but it will definitely be one that I watch perhaps every other year or so. If you haven’t seen this rendition yet, I highly recommend it :)
