Honestly one of the greatest movies of all time. I’ve watched this more times than I can count since I was a child and am just rewatching it for the hell of it.

I fucking love this movie

It's a compromised vision, to be sure, but this colorful and campy pseudo-parody of the classic Scooby-Doo cartoons still has plenty of fun in store for younger (and some older) audiences.

I don't know what made me want to rewatch this, maybe the cast? Maybe because I love Scooby Doo? Either way, I shouldn't have because my memory of it was far better. I can't believe James Gunn is involved but it makes sense. A 2002 audience would probably love the horribly aged, edgy, slapstick humour. The cameos and designs were decent, unlike the plot and exhausting development. Wouldn't be so harsh on the rating, but number 2 in my mind is better. Can't be by a lot since this is the template.

i never get tired of this movie. James Gunn did his thing on this one
