Saw III

6.4 - meh by scale but I do like this one. We’re starting to lose the thread & it’s hard to see where it goes next. Gore & sadistic trap elevation was the right level. Acting improved, editing improved, writing & lore building was good but started to get confusing at times.

This was so good, saw movies never fail, this one is definitely one of the most gore filled movies I’ve ever seen. The ending was crazy and I can’t wait to watch the 4th one.

not as good as the first 2 but I admit it was very entertaining and the plot twist at the end was unexpected, and when everything made sense at the end was just like mouth opening and I may or may have not screamed several times because the characters are so stupid.

Saw III, or what I like to call Sawception. A game within a game within a game.

I love how they start this one right at the end of the last one. A rare occasion in horror.
Now this one is a lot to take in for under two hours, and it starts to lose the thread of the original, but intertwining other threads.
I don’t like how they immediately kill off Detective Kerry. She’s the through line in all 3 movies so far. And seeing Amanda is not only working with John but has been working with him since before the first film is cool but like wtf she endured the needle pit to stay helping him, major stockholm syndrome!

Now I will say the freezer trap is pretty cool, something different from the usual hacker/explosion/shooting traps. The pig pit was gross as hell, I woulda died just from the shock of it, the twisting trap was insanely gross. And I gotta say, the surgery scene is the most gory thing i’ve probably ever seen. It’s soo long and very vivid. I have to look away every time.

The ending is a little too many twists too far for me. It’s just too much happening in one movie for me to care enough or process.
But all in all another good Saw in my opinion. I do enjoy the first two more though.

it was okay but the ending was such bullshit. 2 was better

HATE HATE HATE AMANDA. She gave them no chance what so ever. Even if they did do as the rules said, they would die anyway. Also Jeff is just so stupid. He’s been stupid the whole movie. Though it had good action and I didn’t really know what would happen next. Overall 7/10
