rigg is one of the most frustrating characters in cinematic history, donnie wahlberg is annoying and im glad his head got sandwiched by those ice blocks

I think this movie has it’s moments some the traps are good and the first half is good but I don’t like the rest I love johns backstory I don’t like the new characters I hate the rape scene I hate how they killed eric and the last act is a fumble 5/10 (14)

I can’t imagine watching these unspoiled and wonder if I’d even register the twists when they happen. Even knowing the plot, I can barely follow it, but that’s not really a complaint, it’s still such a fun watch. Gore is finally fully on screen and I love it.

this saw film keeps the franchise’s signature intensity, with more gruesome traps and twisted moral lessons. the timeline gets more complex, but the connections to the past films are interesting. it’s not the strongest in the series, but it’s still brutal and entertaining!
