Absolutely terribly made movie, horrid acting with lots of plot holes. Nevertheless I am apart of the cult following and will watch every piece of garbage released associated with the franchise. The thrill of violence is really the only takeaway. Regardless it’s a must see.

the saw franchise is just one of the classics that you just have to watch imo. some parts get you quite tense, while some parts are also unironically funny. the ending is really good, pretty unexpected. but nonetheless, i enjoyed this. 8/10

what the fuck, im watching horrors alone and im scared asf i need to text someone during it every time, on the other hand i think im not so alone anymore, i loved the plot twists like i didnt see that coming

I love this franchise so much. I forgot how addicting it is until I watch it again. I love how each movie in the series you learn something new about the previous one. Definitely watch these movies!

7.6 - I think I liked it a little more the first time around, but this is still genuinely suspenseful at times, despite knowing the twists. Lots of acting issues, headache inducing early 00s editing, & a true low budget feel. Nervous for how off the rails the rest will go.

when adam died i was so upset because younger me had the hugest crush on him 😔. but such a genius movie, the writer (and the actor who played as adam) is literally a mastermind

While the torture porn moniker is more appropriate for the sequels that follow, Saw is a nasty piece of work with a compelling mystery at its center and an ending to die for.
