A lot of people see these films as pure gore for the sake of gore. And don’t get me wrong, they aren’t wrong. But if you watch them all through, there’s actually a pretty sting and layered story that follows the films.

Enjoyed the whole series and love that they were connected. Storyline didn’t get boring in later movies and was not over used. Great cinematography

Tbh I only watched it for a review but this is actually better than 7 and 3 ironically. It brings back feelings from 1 and 2 of good old fashioned saw traps that weren’t rigged and felt full of tense

This is what started it all so I’m forever grateful, 7.7/10

amazing at getting the theme of the movie series across as a small short film that jumpstarts the series. especially with the even smaller budget they had compared to the actual movie.

leigh whannell’s horror acting is truly so impressive. his screams are haunting.

Birth of a classic.

Just recently finished the entire Saw Series, I'd never seen it before but heard nothing but good things about it. In Love With It! ❤️ I see what all the hype is about now, Totally Love It!!! ❤️

It started one of the best horror franchises.

Not for me. Made me feel ill.

6/10 has rewatch value for this first one but personally for me maybe only about once every 5 years or so and ONLY for this first one. horror is my favorite genre but personally this isn't really my cup of tea for the genre
