I loved it I’m completely biased because I love snl and its intense history. I think the pacing was so fun, all the actors did a great job, and all the characters were perfectly likeable/hateable. The only real flaw is the dated comedy because it’s dated in the 70s. RB score 8/10

This movie perfectly captures the chaotic 90 minutes leading up to the first SNL episode. Even though we know the show becomes successful you worry and feel for this group of misfits and underdogs. Stellar performances across the board and the comedy is on point.

I really liked the fact that they used a old camera to really put you back into time. I feel like some parts fell weak, but the ending really tied it all together and created a beautiful image of what they managed to create with all that happened; and what SNL has now become.

Casting was great the actors looked so similar to the original cast. I was so stressed the whole movie trying to come up with my own solution but I enjoyed every minute of it. Then of course I went home to watch how that first eps went

i did find myself wanting to see how it ended, but getting through the beginning and into the middle of the movie was a big challenge… almost turned it off about 15 minutes in

8.4 - Though it feels like it only scratches the surface & maybe keeps the mood a little more positive than would be realistic, this was 109 minutes of fun whiplash.

Incredible performances from a bunch of Hollywood’s next generation, aided by an equally smart & funny script made the time fly.

Need to watch SNL’s 50th Anniversary special still. This was great timing to celebrate one of TV & comedy’s absolute institutions.

9/10 from start to finish, your in a roller coaster ride, such an under estimated film. Fasted passed. Love the ending. The cast where so believable you think your watching the original team. Defo be watching again.

Chaotic! It was so interesting seeing the behind the scenes of this iconic show. I was never a massive fan of SNL but I’ve watched a lot of skits and full episodes here and there but seeing the ins and outs of the first day with the cast of comedians they had was entertaining

I’ve never been someone that has watched SNL, but I really enjoyed this movie. The craziness is entertaining and it’s just a fun watch.

The longer it got, the more I wanted. I watch SNL every weekend so when I heard about this I was hyped, and it did not disappoint. It feels like an SNL mockumentary but with the right balance of cinema. If you're a long-time fan, you'll love this, from characters and casting to jokes and acting, it all feels worthy. It makes fans out of it too, although you're forced to do your own research. It asked (several times) "What even is snl?", well by the end it was perfectly summed up. If you wanted to see actual episodes then watch the actual episodes. Otherwise, this has some great directing and even better details.

i liked this a lot. i want to fuck dylan o’brien and i want to mother andrew bath wtv. i fucking knew that guy was chevy chase so fast. rachael is mama. dickinson girl fucking ate down. why was kaia gerber there. when tf did finnwolf hard get so tall. he’s still a baby in my eyes

Dylan O’Brien in short shorts and Rachel Sennott with curly hair. Amen. Hallelujah. (Really good movie, super funny)

This was super entertaining and a cool look into the show’s history. Loved the way it was filmed with long single shots. Acting was good. Some of the skits were funny, some I did not understand, which was also funny to me how humor has evolved since the 70s so much. Crazy how no one believed in this show and it’s such a cultural phenomenon now.

I reallyyy enjoyed this movie. I liked the frantic pace and how well all the whole cast represented these star studded characters. Also thought it was dope how it concentrates on a 90 min window pre show but still conveyed the bigger story of SNL

The whole movie feels like one long shot. The sound design and soundtrack and costuming and acting is phenomenal even if the story didn’t really resonate that much with me. It’s an impressive movie

As a SNL fan it was great to see how it all started loved Rachel Sennott and Gabriel LaBelle.
