A waste of time. I’m sure some nerd will say I missed the point of it.

This movie will go down in my book as one of the strangest I have ever seen. Do not watch this film if you're not prepared to watch Sasquatch having sex, giving birth, defecating, throwing feces, or eating roe straight from a live fish. There is heart, I'll give it that. 5/10

I wanted to hate this movie I really did. Especially because of everything I heard but shockingly I enjoyed it. Did it have gross moments I didn’t enjoy? Absolutely! However, the music is peaceful and calming to listen to, the nature is beautiful, and some how these Sasquatches drew my emotions in to where I really felt for them which is impressive since there is no dialog in this movie. This is not a movie I would recommend to anyone and I would say watch at your own risk but it earned the like from me.

I doubt I'll finish this. I love unique and risky ideas, so everyone involved already has my respect. Overall, it needed to be alot shorter. The comedy was definitely there because the rawness and realness of it all is in us all. Take away our intelligence, and there we are. Just some disgusting, stupid, and impulsive ape things. The cinematography and locations were incredible. I want multiple shots of this on my walls. The design and acting made the cast unrecognisable to the point I couldn't believe it. Beware, it gets pretty disgusting, and there's no dialogue, only grunts.

I’m being pretty generous with this meh rating but only because the concept was intriguing to me and I wanted to see what they did with it

The movie ends pretty much exactly how I was expecting it was going to end with the Sassies entering some type of man made environment — this isn’t even a spoiler though because nothing at all happens throughout this movie

I think this may be one of the only movie on the planet that can’t be spoiled because you wouldn’t be missing anything that you didn’t already expect to happen going into this

The idea was interesting but I just don’t think the execution was as good as it could’ve been, I honestly don’t know if I even recommend this movie because you’d just be better off watching something else

Save it for a day you are doing chores or something and want some noise

why did jesse eisenberg jump up and down on the log

This film was so enthralling and had me laughing the whole time. I recommend watching with a friend as some of the scenes are quite shocking. It was definitely weird with a good amount of “fart joke” humor combined with excellent cinematography and acting.

I get why this one’s divisive, but I bloody loved it. Sure, a year in the life of a Sasquatch family with no dialogue isn’t the strongest plot.. but goddamn it was beautifully filmed and the score is incredible. A quirky, funny, and emotional masterpiece. Well worth the ride.

Absurd and juvenile at times, I’d be lying if I said this didn’t have several hidden gem moments throughout. No dialogue, all emotion, complete nonsense… and I loved every second of it.

The closest thing we have to a modern silent film: it lacks any real, comprehensive language. Only grunts. The story serves as an exploration of man’s relationship with nature, though it is predictable at times.

Very weird, most of the movie was pretty boring. The last like 20 mins were better. When they find the campsite was the only part that made me laugh. I’m glad the baby survived though.

Weird movie.

A bold silent film shot like an overlong, animal documentary. It highlights gross-out lowbrow humor as well as moving dramatic moments all to a gorgeous score.

While I see the themes and ideas for the film, the toilet humor and lack of focus on the story makes this a disappointing watch. Riley Keough and Jesse Eisenberg are great but the film is just too focused on potty humor. One of the worst films of 2024
