Intense heist film starring Robert De Niro. Overall chase scenes blew me away.

Really great spy/heist film. I don’t think I’ve seen that combo before and it was done very well. A bit of a drag towards the end but still a good payoff. Some great action and the car chases were awesome. Wish the effects were done a bit better. Definitely a different film to De Niro’s usual mafia movies. Jean Reno is great as always.

Badly written, no interesting characters, no emotional investment, no meaningful theme or reason for the story to happen, w/ a “Twist villain”, and horribly wasted actors. The car chase was alright but idk

Ronin is a highly recommended action-thriller with Robert De Niro at his best. While it’s not the mafia classic you might expect, the intense car chases, complex plot, and strong performances make it a gripping and memorable watch.

The 47 Ronin chose honor, in reality they chose to become myths!

what a great action film with plenty of drama and powerful performances from some of the greats of the time.
