A great end to the series. The drama’s pretty on point —keeping focus on the family and Rocky and his son was great— the story was good, and the antagonists were too. Duke is slimy and Tommy’s fall makes it all the more satisfying when he’s beat in the street by Rocky.

It may be compromised, but what it's trying to do is worthwhile enough to appreciate the effort. Because if its reputation, Rocky V is now the ultimate underdog of the underdog series.

Loved the father son growth because I feel it was ignored in 4. Interesting final fight, I would’ve sued if I was Duke. Recency bias score: 5.5-6
Better than 4 but not as good as the original trilogy but it does do some new stuff which is interesting

anche questo è stato inaspettatamente bello, diciamo che inizia come un classico ultimo film che lascia spazio alle nuove gen ma fortunatamente finisce proprio come solo rocky sa fare. mi sono affezionato molto a questo personaggio non me lo toglierò più dalla testa

non avevo ancora mai visto questo film nonostante io amo la collana dei rocky, ancora mi fa sognare, sono tanto affascinata, vedere sage ha fatto molto male ed ha dato più significato a questo film, rimango ancora ammagliata dalle opere di stallone

The film has some good family dynamics and some pretty great performances by the actors and some decent character development, but the movie lacked a lot of what the other films had, great engagement and directorial visions. It copied and pasted a lot of the originals. 7.9/10!!!!

this one wasn’t very great. but i remember constantly going back to rewatch this one because of that final fight scene. still good but not as good as the 4th

Easily the weakest film in the franchise. It wasn’t on the same level as the first four and the training montage and fight scenes was kind of forgettable. Overall the best part for sure was the ending.

It shines in its exploration of boxers’ physical toll and the emotional cost, anxiety of their loved ones. Rocky’s fear of leaving the ring permanently injured adds depth. The premise is compelling, the execution feels uneven. It’s not the best but that ending was satisfying.
