Rocky Balboa

nothing too special about this one. was a bit too short for me personally. however, you can always count on 3 things in a rocky movie (excluding rocky v); good acting, a good training montage, and a good final fight. this had those 3 things, which makes it good. beyond that the movie is just fine.

wouldn't watch again, but that's only because there are better rocky movies. 7.9/10

The world ain’t all sunshines and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.

No shot sixty year old rocky is coming out of retirement for the twentieth time

This is a reflective, touching chapter in the franchise. Stallone delivers a heartfelt performance, capturing Rocky’s loneliness & resilience after Adrian’s passing. Her absence, leaving the film emotionally hollow. It hurt not seeing her by his side, supporting & motivating him.
