such a good movie i love it every time i watch (ps taron egerton is fit af)

7/10 forget all you know about Robin Hood, sit back and enjoy, great cast, good story. Different take on the myth and saying “steal from the rich and give to the poor”. Rewatch on the cards.

Personally I do not feel ti attracted to these complete readaptations of classics when major parts of the storyline are changed to make it more ‘fit for adults’. Nor I enjoy ‘sci-fiesque’ modernization of what should be medieval costumes and surroundings (if you know what I mean)

2/5 Really wanted to like this especially with Taron in it but no consistency with this one, it’s all over the place, arrow shooting action scenes were cool but didn’t keep me interested with a weak story

Best Robin Hood movies for me

Rating: 4.8/10 ⭐️

Wanted to see a stylized, modern take on the archer legend. Expected a fast action flick, but the messy tone and forced modern wardrobe honestly took me out of it.

What Worked:
• The archery training with Foxx looks super cool with a fun Action RPG vibe.
• Mendelsohn plays a great, slimy villain with tons of memorable energy.
• The bass-driven score completely pops and adds awesome tension to heists.

The Friction:
• The political conspiracy part with the Cardinal really dragged for me.
• Forcing modern military tactics into medieval times honestly felt super awkward.

Verdict:
Watch for goofy, flashy stunts. Skip if forced modern updates annoy you.
