GOD THE ANIMATION???? The story was okay too??? I guess??? I think it would’ve had more impact if I actually had a connection to the series/characyers but still super visually fun!

Just finished the show and holy shit this movie’s amazing. Older Mickey looks just like Yoda. “Days of Future Past” vibes. We literally get one of the best versions of April O’Neil in here.

obviously the voice acting isn’t good, and the story isn’t crazy, but the animation is insane. the fight scenes went hard. how they animated michelangelo’s face sometimes was funny asf

This show deserves way more love. The turtles may be different than people are used to, but the changes work. The characters and animation are fantastic

Honestly, this pretty good and I enjoyed the direction they took this. A little disappointed in their use of some choice words as it detracts from the kid friendlyness of it. Overall a good TMNT movie.

Pacing was actually pretty good for what they had to work with, also Casey jones is lowkey a baddie

my favorite line from this movie is was when they went “we’re the teenage mutant ninja turtles”. Leo’s V.A wasn’t very good though, he showed 0 emotion the entire movie

I cried watching this

I adore the show, but, MY GOSH! The emotion and animation in this is flipping god tier! I mean, it gave Leo so much more personality then just the ‘funny’ character, and with how Donnie ended u feeling emotions at the end, and Ralphs extra layering of wanting to protect them!

Favorite movie to rewatch!

Insanely mature and heavy hitting for an animated TMNT movie. No need to watch the first season beforehand, but definitely makes the movie better!
