Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

GOD THE ANIMATION???? The story was okay too??? I guess??? I think it would’ve had more impact if I actually had a connection to the series/characyers but still super visually fun!

Just finished the show and holy shit this movie’s amazing. Older Mickey looks just like Yoda. “Days of Future Past” vibes. We literally get one of the best versions of April O’Neil in here. 


- I will say the ending was pretty sick with all of them being able to use their mystic powers
- I might’ve enjoyed this more maybe if I watched the show tbh
- Also it felt like Leonardo and Raphael had switched personalities in this movie

BRILLIANT, AMAZING WOWOWOWOWOWOW

Honestly, this pretty good and I enjoyed the direction they took this. A little disappointed in their use of some choice words as it detracts from the kid friendlyness of it. Overall a good TMNT movie.
