Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

GOD THE ANIMATION???? The story was okay too??? I guess??? I think it would’ve had more impact if I actually had a connection to the series/characyers but still super visually fun!

Just finished the show and holy shit this movie’s amazing. Older Mickey looks just like Yoda. “Days of Future Past” vibes. We literally get one of the best versions of April O’Neil in here.

obviously the voice acting isn’t good, and the story isn’t crazy, but the animation is insane. the fight scenes went hard. how they animated michelangelo’s face sometimes was funny asf

This show deserves way more love. The turtles may be different than people are used to, but the changes work. The characters and animation are fantastic

- I will say the ending was pretty sick with all of them being able to use their mystic powers
- I might’ve enjoyed this more maybe if I watched the show tbh
- Also it felt like Leonardo and Raphael had switched personalities in this movie
