something i needed to hear.
this movie inspired me to just live for today and everything that i want to learn or didn't do i still can. i have all the time in the world.
and there is no need to stress.

A true story of the pattern of life. Made me cry.

This one’s cute. I could understand it because my parents recently retired and they told me all the things that they wanted to do being retired as well.

Maybe we don’t have to wait retirement to complete our side-quests❤️‍🩹

the concept and art was amazing, i remember the artist from his older work about procrastination, he’s really come a long way! i understand why thus was nominated

A very simple short, but one I oddly really enjoyed and took a lot out of. It can be a little repetitive and mundane at times, but that’s also what I really loved about it. It expresses the different aspects of life in a really funny but also thoughtful way that just hooked me.

Compared to the other Oscar nominees in this category this one sticks out the most to me as the message is a very general thing that most people can relate to but the way it is told is very comforting. Great message about slowing down and enjoying the life you have in present day as well as the future.

8.9 - Amending my review of Forevergreen as my favorite of this year’s Oscar animated shorts. A little separation has made this one stick in my head so strongly. While it’s not my favorite animation style, & I doubt it will win, but I love the message here so much.

It opens so humorously & ends so poignantly. It’s never too late to start.

I want to rewatch this soon.

What is this life that we are living? And why are we living it for?

Really touching and inspiring with a theme of doing the things you want before it’s too late to do them.

A lesson on living in the moment rather than waiting until it’s too late.

thought-provoking and depressing but moving short film

It was a short, beautiful message about being able to do what you want to once you retire. Realizing you finally get freedom, but your time is almost up already. 6.5/10
