The story follows a familiar outbreak structure—virus spreads, containment fails, and characters navigate chaos. The action sequences are clean and easy to follow. Although, Leon feels off here. He’s so serious and stiff that he almost comes across like a robot.

Decent at times, but way too convoluted and with a lot of things that didn’t make sense with established lore or just plainly didn’t work (Angela romance) AHEM Leon needs to continue the Redfield bloodline.

There’s some fun to be had with this, unfortunately it focuses on a needlessly convoluted political espionage storyline in the second half, as well as having a new character that’s not nearly as engaging as the movie thinks she is. Action is fun enough but writing is mediocre
