The sets and tone make this movie really compelling and keeps you in the cool “what if” scenario. Such a weird role for McConaughey to play the bald general hard A. I wish it wasn’t as much of a slow burn and it needed more story. Decent film though.

McConaughey goes full wild man and it's glorious. This is dark, gritty, and weirdly intense. Bale and McConaughey bring unexpected depth to a world ruled by dragons. Underrated post-apocalyptic fantasy.
