Another take on the Hollywood Frankenstein. The first ten minutes were very captivating. The rest of the film was fairly predictable (with some uncomfortable nudity reoccurring throughout the rest of the film).

Very enjoyable for this type of film. Practical effects and humor knocked it out of the park. Not sure it does anything overly special with the story, but it’s entertaining nonetheless.

Very campy! Had stage play vibes rather than a movie, especially with Jeffrey Combs’ acting (this isn’t a complaint). I think it was generally fun, just wish the role of the only woman in this movie wasn’t JUST to be sexualized and brutalized. But uh, 80s horror, amiright?
