This movie made me want a brother. It’s heartfelt, it’s funny, and it will tear a hole through your chest. This movie has flaws, sure, but it more than makes up for it. There are so many moments that are flying through my head while typing this that just make my heart sink.

A special experience of well done drama, well deserving of the 4 Oscar wins! Rain Man incorporates moving drama, timeless scenery and unbelievable performance
It's meticulously written, impressively, directed, engaging, moving, touching, and above all that.

Rain Man is a fun watch and really does try to educate its viewer of Autism. As someone who interacts with someone with Autism similarly to that shown in the movie, the care his brother gives him is nice and the lack of infantilism is great.

9/10 - What a film, so good. Such a wholesome story of a man and his older brother. At first he considers his brother a burden because of his disability, but later he finds out how special he really is. Beautiful film, the end was a tear jerker for sure. Dustin & Tom were great.

I am not a Tom Cruise fan but he played this so well off Dustin Hoffman. Classic feel good movie with a realistic ending. They should make more movies like this!

as someone who has an autistic brother, this movie changed my life as a kid. i remember feeling pretty isolated when comparing myself to my friends siblings, or siblings you see on TV. but this was a refreshing and comedic take, that drags you through the highs and lows of autism

A road movie about two brothers who reunite after the death of their father, except one of them does not know that he had an older brother with autism. Maybe I am going to make enemies with some neurodivergent people for giving my personal opinion, but Dustin Hoffman did a great job in personifying a person within the autism spectrum. Yes, I admit that the movie had its exaggerated moments (one must keep in mind that no autistic person is the same as another autistic person), but in some things it was very accurate.
Tom Cruise, in his pedantic, perfectionist, and ambitious character, is disagreeable at the beginning of the movie, but later you grow fond of him as you see how his relationship with his older brother changes in a positive way and makes them closer. It is not the best movie to represent autism since not everyone is gifted, the film lacked more information, but it is a very entertaining story.
